  • 3 ounces Gouda cheese
  • 4 large fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 2 pears, sliced
  • Half an apple or melon


  1. Slice the cheese into 1/2-inch slices. Place strawberries, grapes and pears in separate small bowls so kids can assemble their own kabob. Place the half apple cut-side down on a plate so kids can stick skewers into apple. Use cookie cutters to cut shapes out of the cheese slices. Carefully thread fruit and cheese onto skewers. To serve, place the pointy end of the skewer into the half apple.
