  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 orange pekoe tea bags, labels removed
  • 1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 -- cinnamon stick, broken in half
  • 1/4 teaspoon whole allspice
  • 6 whole cloves


  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.  Cover and bring to a simmer. 
  2. Lower heat so mixture barely simmers and cook 10 minutes.  Strain into 4  mugs.
